The Alzheimer’s battery is a product of our many years of experience in using the various tests that comprise the CANTAB in both case-control and clinical trial research.
Using five tests (including our Paired Associates Learning measure) completed in 30 minutes, CANTAB Alzheimer’s assures sensitive, thorough, and well-founded measurement of memory, executive functioning, and attention.
CANTAB Alzheimer’s uses a touch screen format that can be rapidly deployed at multiple clinical sites and has proven user tolerability and comfort, resulting in the generation of valid data for older populations and in samples of patients with mild-to-moderate dementia. The CANTAB Alzheimer's battery has been developed following a wide variety of studies investigating products using different mechanisms of action.
