Scientific Officer (Cognitive Psychopharmacologist)
Cambridge Cognition is a leading supplier of computerised cognitive test products and services to a number of different industries and markets. Due to substantial successes in 2006/7 we are expanding the team in our Pharmaceutical Division.
We are looking for a high calibre, self motivated and hard working team player to complement our team of Scientific Consultants. The successful applicant will provide neuropsychological / psychopharmacological expertise to our clients from the initiation of a clinical trial through to its successful conclusion.
The ideal candidate will have:
* experience in cognitive neuropsychological assessment in a range of neuropsychiatric conditions
* an excellent grounding in psychopharmacology,with competence in psychopharmacological study design and analysis drive, determination and excellent communication skills
Based near Cambridge, UK, the role will include extensive foreign travel. Flexibility is well rewarded, with a generous remuneration package on offer for the right individual.

Project Manager (Pharmaceutical Clinical Trials)
We are seeking a committed individual to join our Pharmaceutical project management team.
Qualified to degree level, or equivalent, you should have 2 to 4 years' experience of the pharmaceutical industry/CRO. Knowledge of quality compliance processes would be advantageous. Marketing Executive
We are seeking a Marketing Executive to plan and implement a wide range of marketing activities in order to meet the company objectives for growth.
An innovative, ambitious individual is required with a hands-on approach, plus strong commercial skills and the drive and determination to deliver effective marketing plans with a real business benefit. Data Manager
We are seeking a committed individual to join our Pharmaceutical project management team.
Qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in the life sciences, you should have 2 to 4 years' experience of data management in the pharmaceutical industry/CRO, and a thorough knowledge of quality compliance processes.
You must be an effective team player and self motivated, with proven ability to apply yourself under pressure to meet demanding deadlines whilst maintaining high levels of quality. You will need to have a high level of attention to detail, excellent analytical skills and a methodical, process-oriented approach.
You will be responsible for:
* Writing the Data Management Plan in consultation with the client and CCL internal cross-functional teams
* Collation of cognitive functional data from clinical trials, from receipt at CCL to database lock
* Oversight of study progress, from a data management perspective
* Creating generic and study specific data management manuals
* Using CCL bespoke data management software to review subject trial data for consistency, quality and completeness, and raising and resolving data queries.

Quality Manager
We are seeking a high-calibre self-motivated individual to organise and manage the CCL quality system, which achieved ISO 9001:2000 + TickIT certification in 2006.
You will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and an intimate knowledge of maintaining and/or implementing ISO 9001:2000 in a life science, healthcare and/or engineering environment. A background of working in clinical QA, clinical research or computerised systems for clinical research is advantageous.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring that the processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained.
* Liaising with external auditors/Inspectors for organising audits of CCL
* Conducting audits of the CCL quality system and operations.
* Liaising closely with other management for establishing and delivering clients' and business objectives on time and on budget.
* Conducting a regular review of implementation of corrective and preventive actions derived from internal or external audits (or other notification related to quality issues) until closure.
